Nathan Robbins Biography
Robbins comes to CUAA from Dallas Lutheran School (DLS) in Dallas, Texas, where he planned and instituted the football program start-ups for both the high school and middle school teams in 2003-04. Robbins has served as head football coach, offensive coordinator, and head of speed and strength at DLS since 2003. Prior to starting up football programs at DLS, Robbins served as the defensive coordinator and assistant speed and strength coach at Lutheran West High School in Cleveland, Ohio, from 1999-2002.
A graduate from Concordia University Nebraska (CUNE) in Seward, Nebraska, he was a four-year member of the football team and a three-time First Team All-Conference Safety in the Nebraska Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
Robbins currently serves as the acting president of the Lutheran Football Coaches Association (LFCA), which is an “organization dedicated to providing opportunities and resources to coaches unified in the mission of developing Christian character and purpose in young men through the game of football.”
The coaching philosophy of Robbins “places the holistic development of young men ahead of all else. This philosophy recognizes the athlete’s potential to take on a leadership role as a Christian man of character well beyond his athletic career at CUAA.”
