FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
"With One Heart" Series
ANN ARBOR, Mich., February 15, 2010 - At the 2010 District Administrator’s Snowtire Conference, Charles A. Winterstein, acting president of Concordia University Ann Arbor (CUAA), and Richard Schumacher, coordinator of secondary education, presented principals of Michigan Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod (LCMS) elementary schools with a video chapel series entitled, “With One Heart.” In total, over 90 copies of the chapel series were distributed at the February 4-5 conference, which was held in Lansing, Michigan.
“With One Heart” is a four-part chapel series that was created, written, and produced by members of the CUAA faculty and staff. The chapel series was packaged as a DVD/CD combination containing four written chapel services, four chapel PowerPoint presentations, and four videos.
The “With One Heart” series details stories of triumph, overcoming adversity, and following God's will for our lives. The project represents the foundation of a renewed partnership between educational institutions at all levels of the LCMS. CUAA seeks to continue these efforts as a resource to the LCMS elementary schools within the region.
